    Got my licence!

If you can't get into a car and learn to steer in 2 minutes you shouldn't drive ever again.

    Laptops?

Well he can't tell you not to use it if you aren't bothering anyone. You should question people when they try to boss you around next time.

    Laptops?

I did that subject but I don't remember the lecturer. If you and your friend were talking then fair enough. I'm sure you probably were. If you weren't then you should of asked him why and made him tell you before you moved.

    Got my licence!

So you can't even steer properly by yourself while someone else controls the accelerator and brake and you are allowed on public roads.... that is fucked. Learners should have to start on some kind of track before they are allowed onto roads full of other cars.

    Laptops?

There are plenty of people who use laptops that are normal, but I know who you mean when you say 'freaky people' I've never seen that happen before. What lecturer was it? You should of just used it anyway. They can't tell you what to do... as long as you aren't bothering anyone.

    Laptops?

What lecture atmosphere? My lectures are all incredibly boring and if I didn't have my laptop so I could do other work I would fall asleep.

    ADSL2+ with telstra

You're right, they are cheap, but that's about it. My connection is horrible, especially after p2p shaping, and there is no way I can fix it because their customer service is non existent. If I was to tell them how bad my connection has been they would insist it was my problem and then recommend...

    ADSL2+ with telstra

Did you filter that by cost? If you did.... I wouldn't go with either of the first two. Lets Go are cheap but I don't think they are all that good. I'm with Exetel and they are horrible. I'd probably go with TPG if I was you.

    worth appealing group marks?

They really are... and anyone who disagrees obviously hasn't had to be in a group full of them. But what am I meant to do, refuse to be in a group with them next time... I'm sure the tutor/lecturer/uni will love that.
  10. I

    worth appealing group marks?

There is no research. The assessment basically involved just using our own understanding of the lecture theories to analyse a case study. The only real proof I have is my contribution to the presentation and more importantly the poor performance by my group members. The problem is my tutor...

how much does your rents' pay for your schooling and extra activities?!

I don't know what my school fees were exactly but by year 12 they were probably about $15,000 for the year. Right now my parents pay my uni fees which are almost $3000 a session and my textbooks which are anywhere between $100 and $500 a session. So maybe $6000 a year.

    worth appealing group marks?

I had an assessment recently with possibly the worst group ever assembled in the history of university group assessments. I ended up doing 50% of the work (in a group with 5 people [and I did all the most important parts by myself]), not because the other people in my group didn't do any work...

    Ramadan 1428

Just admit that god is in control of your life (and therefore religion is in control of your life) and not yourself and that will be the end of it.

    Ramadan 1428

So... if you don't choose your religion then you aren't in control, you are controlled by god (thus you are controlled by your religion since that it what connects you to god) which is what I have been saying the entire time. The universe is huge therefore god must exist.... that is not...

    Ramadan 1428

I'm sure your religion does express your personality, what does that prove? This is not about alcohol, drugs or pork. Everything you do and everything you think is influenced by your religion. You don't eat pork because the Kuran tells you not to but you justify it by saying that non...

    Ramadan 1428

Yes, a person with no religion has a very different view of life to a person who does, and you are saying this to prove what exactly? I mean you don't make your own decisions. Everything you do is controlled by your religion and what it says you should do and what it considers to be...

    I want a camera/video phone - please help I am clueless.

Buy a camera and phone separately. Then you get better pictures and video and a phone that still does everything a phone is meant to do.

    Ramadan 1428

No Yes. People are controlled by their government, but not to the same extent.
