    Advanced/Standard English

Ooh. That'll definitely set my year 10 english teacher on fire :p Thanks for that :) Heh, I actually like poetry better, my mark was much better for the poetry task this year than, say, Macbeth speech. Ugh. :mad1:

    Note Taking Demons, Unite!

Not that they said anything helpful anyway, that's the only thing I remember  And chill. At least your exams are done, right? You don't have to worry about them anymore :) Or maybe someone could give you a shot of tranquiliser or something too, after they supply me with a truckload...

    Physics vs Chemistry

I thought chem is easer than physics too, but I still like physics better :D It depends on you though. Which one do you like better and/or do better in?

    Note Taking Demons, Unite!

Hee. Hand-written notes for phys and chem for me, and typed up notes for IPT used for the sole purpose of major cramming :uhhuh: I'd say hand-written notes are better for keeping stuff in your brain, I don't know, typed up notes just seems kinda mechanical and just meaningless slabs of texts...

    Advanced/Standard English

Don't know about chocolate_lover, but I'm actually eligible for ESL too :p What do you do in the course?

    Advanced/Standard English

Good luck with it chocolate_lover :) I need to remember to ask the teacher about it after the exam too, hopefully she'd know if it's possible to drop to standard in year 12, despite the fact that she's only been to the school for one term or so...:p

    hardcore subjects

As far as I know loads of people are doing 3u Eng & maths and all three sciences. So it's definitely manageable :D

    How was your school day?

Was LATE for 3u maths test. Ugh. :mad1: That was just great... Felt so shaky during the test, and did the questions totally out of order. :S OK maybe not entire questions, but the sections of them. For one of the questions I think I did section 2, then 1, 3, 5, 4. Ha. I just kept going, "wait a...

    How was your school day?

Physics test starting in about 20 minutes and currently totally freaking out about it. :S Spent the whole morning telling myself not to stress, don't stress, chill, you can do it, it's just a test...aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh just get it over and done with!!! >.<''' ... Whew. Better not carry that...

studying/revising 3u maths and preparing for tests

I read the textbook and jot down the points that are completely new to me or those that I need to look over more, and concentrate on those. And put more of an emphasis on techniques rather than trying to memorise solutions to routine examples. As of stupid mistakes in exams...I keep making...

    What to keep/throw?

That actually sounds like something I gotta remember to include in my French speaking exam :o

Yearly Prem. Exam Next Week!! :(

All that is some overwhelming gibberish to the very non-legal brain of mine (oops almost said illegal just then :p) >.o

    How was your school day?

Surely. You wouldn't say so if you actually know me :uhhuh: Shame on you, Gab :p
  15. airie

    How was your school day?

Thank you, I did. Slept well into the morning today too, in fact, neglecting my duty of physics revision XP O.O Some people are so blessed with just six exams. While I have one and a half times that which equals nine. ... Now why did I even bothering calculating that?? >.< Glad that I don't...

    Advice please...

Apparently someone from my school dropped Textiles on the morning of the HSC exam, so it's not *relatively* not that late to drop a subject :p I don't know, but if your highest mark has only been around 50%, and you've got enough units without it, what's the harm of dropping? The other...

    Advanced/Standard English

...I probably wouldn't trust my English skills to be up to scratch for that :p I guess I'd better ask...after the exams. Ugh. Still need to finish off physics notes. x.x Actually turned down an offer to share notes from a friend the other day, see, I just can't understand things properly if I...

    Advanced/Standard English

So you *can* drop to Standard from Advanced in year 12, right? I thought so, at least early in year 12, but some people have been saying that it's a totally different course and you shouldn't drop and making me start to worry >.o People doing Standard are doing Physical Journey while Advanced...

    06'ers: any advice?

Wow. I'm glad that I wouldn't have any major works :p *checks* Just making sure :D

ext with 10 or 12 units?

Keep all 12 so that you could have a choice of dropping when you see appropriate. I'm taking all 14 into year 12, but who knows if I might drop four units along the way <.< :p
