    what year are you in?

i realise that, but it's true that some responses only need a one word or one line answer
  2. U

number of hours study per day

And now you are on 405 posts. Goes up 100 posts everyday
  3. U

    Tutoring?

And you also save time and money too. I noticed that a lot of my friends who had tutoring for individual subjects became slacker in class, were less attentive, and payed the price as a consequence
  4. U

Do you feel confident about achieving the UAI which you are aiming for?

Not really, if you do other things like playing a sport or getting some part time work you will be less inclined to think about your results because you won't have time to.
  5. U

What is your record page count in 40 minute exam?

Are you doing the HSC in 2003 "blah says she"? You get used to writing a lot in a short space of time. When you know you have to write 3 essays in 2 hours you are forced to write a lot, and think quickly.
  6. U

number of hours study per day

I agree, flyin you are definately spamming. One day you were on 200 now you are on 320 posts!!!

    Country students

Same I've applied to macquarie, Sydney, and UNSW. Hopefully I don't need to go to Macquarie and can get into Sydney and UNSW
  8. U

    Kensington Colleges at UNSW

I sent in an application for them last week Jerry. If I don't get into Sydney Uni, I will go to UNSW, and stay at the kensington colleges
  9. U

    what year are you in?

I'm glad that you agree jessika
  10. U

    Tutoring?

Exactly, people who have tutors think it will make the world of difference in their individual subjects, but it can sometimes back fire and cause students to slacken off, meaning their marks will drop.
  11. U

    Tutoring?

This is what I have observed in my school too. Not many take tutoring but the ones who do tend to see classes as a waste of time, as if they are "too cool for school". As well they didn't perform any better than when they didn't have any tutoring. It shows that tutoring can help some...

    School / Subject

That's about right. For easier subjects you need a mark in the vicinity of the top 1 or 2 percent of the state in order to be unaffected by the scaling mechanisms.
  13. U

    Country students

That's a good idea Jessika.:D What colleges are you applying for?
  14. U

    what year are you in?

Also it is easier to read posts which contain less info and are to the point than those that contain about 40 lines worth of repetitious information.
  15. U

    what year are you in?

Has it Jessika? You are very observant then :D I'm trying my best to put as much info into my posts as possible but realise that some answers only require one word or simply one line. Hey I would rather be concise rather than rabble on like some do.
  16. U

    hsc results question

Atleast I'm to the point and am answering the queestion
  17. U

    What school do you dislike?

I agree with you Year 11, the school only does so much and in the end its up to the individual
  18. U

What is your record page count in 40 minute exam?

In the HSC I wrote 12 pages in 40 minutes. It's hard to generalise about the average because the lines you write on may be bigger than usual (for example in the HSC booklets)
