    help plz

    It takes 1-2 working days for UTSOnline to update. It should be Automatic, unless it says so otherwise under the "Available Courses" link. On the other hand, your new subjects may not be using UTSOnline, which is something you can check using the "Available Courses" link. So if its not online by...

    Only 3 Subjects In A Semester ?

    Well usually even doing only 3 subjects per semester is still classed as a full time load (well it is at UTS). I find 4 subjects a fair bit of workload, so 5 subjects would be a bit too much. Depends on the subjects though.

    Admin NIGHTMARE::{}

    Ooh I get it now! Well they should let you drop it. Go bug them more.

    Studying at Kuring-gai

    You might want to consider applying for a transfer to the City campus (if your course is there) at the end of the year if its too much for you.

    Economics for Business homework

    Are you asking me when I tutored it last semester or when I personally did it? I never personally did that subject and hardly anyone failed last semester.

    Admin NIGHTMARE::{}

    Do you go to UTS or UWS? If you go to UWS then I can't help you much :p. If you go to UTS, then go bug the people at the Student Info and Admin centre and also at your faculty.

    Economics for Business homework

    Yes, the criteria looks simple, but as you'll learn at uni, they always find something to mark you down on without reason and seem to not stick to the criteria :p

    Economics for Business homework

    If the media assignment still exists, then they mark that assignment quite hard. The average mark is usually around 10/20.

    Tell me about UTS!

    I'm glad you like that lecture theatre because it hasn't even been renovated yet as part of the building :p. It's been like that for years now. It's supposed to get renovated soon but they haven't done much yet.

    Economics for Business homework

    Thanks for providing the info Soma! Your reading chapters and homework questions should be in the subject outline. The questions are in your lecture notes booklet (unless they changed it). If you haven't done it then you can do it later I guess, just don't fall behind too much, as the work in...

    Blue J ?!

    If you go into UTSOnline and have a look at the discussion boards, there is a forum for each of the 5 tutors, so you can find the names there.

    Blue J ?!

    Yeh, I'm taking one of the 4:30pm ones, either tutorial 4 and 5. I wanted to take tutorial 2 or 3, but the other 2 tutors are :p. What do you mean by helping classes Sasha?

    Blue J ?!

    Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003. You can borrow the CDs from the IT Technical Support desk on level 3. It is freely provided by Microsoft to any students studying IT at university under the MSDNAA program. It is 6 CDs all together (though the last 3 is documentation which you don't have to...

    Blue J ?!

    Yes, you need the JDK to run BlueJ. It's the Java (J2SE) framework which includes all the standard libraries and classes that you will need (and BlueJ needs them to run too, since its a Java program). It is around 50MB, or 100MB if you download the NetBeans IDE with it too (which you won't need...

    Where is the Job Advertisement Board

    Not really, you go up the stairs and turn left. Its infront of the UTS careers service. There is also one in Building 10 behind the level 3 printers. You can also search the online database as well here: http://www.ssu.uts.edu.au/careers/fstudents/jobs/index.html . You will need your UTS...

    $16 weekly train/bus/ferry travelpasses.

    Yes, yellow for Parramatta to UNSW. This was already discussed in the UNSW thread. You can't buy perodical TravelPasses (ie. monthly, quaterly or yearly) on concessions, only adult fare, so you'll have to buy them weekly.

    how do i use my free print quota?

    Any student doing a course in the IT faculty or a computing course (including BBus/BComp) should have an IT login. So you should have one! If you don't know it then go present your student card at the Technical Support desk in Building 10, Level 3 and they'll print it out for you again. Then you...
