    Lecture Rooms

UTS have wireless in Buildings 1 (the main levels), 2 (levels 4 and 5), 5 (library and the main parts) and 10 (levels 2-4). So any lecture rooms in those buildings and levels will have wireless in it. Unfortunately they don't have wireless in the larger lecture theatres in Buildings 4 and 6 yet...

    CA vs CPA?

You can do the first CA module (CA Foundations) without any work experience. In fact, you only need to have done 2 years of your accounting degree! So you could even start it without finishing your course (though its not recommended).

    accounting problem

No it makes no difference, unless its the end of your financial year, but even then, both Accounts Receivable and Cash are asset accounts and therefore will carry over to the next period. Your revenue will go to 0 (at the end of the financial year), however you've already recognised revenue...

People who have succesfully completed a transfer: post in here

I transferred at the start of 2004. I did an UTS internal course transfer though, before they phased it out, so probably not as useful for you. UAI: 89.15 (2001) GPA: 6.1 (for 2002-2003) Initial Course: BScIT/DipITPP - UTS Transferred: BBusiness/BComputing - UTS Required: 86.10 (2004)

    accounting problem

Alrighty, well its still the same process. It's still double entry accounting anyways. Well I did the general journal entries for you already. You just need to put them into T accounts. Make one for each account, Accounts Receivable, Cash at Bank and depending on your question, what they...

    ATMs/Banks around UNSW

Sorry my bad! I was getting 0.05% ahead of myself. I knew it had been increased :). I have the same as you, except with St George. It's a good way to ensure you don't spend too much, while investing your money!

    accounting problem

Basically, the key words "customers on account" means that you're going to be using Accounts Receivable at some point. Basically, you are receiving $900 from a debtor whom owes you money. At some point in the past, you issued an invoice for $900. Let's say it was for a piece of equipment...

    ATMs/Banks around UNSW

Just get a comm bank account and put some money aside into an ING account? That way you can't take that money out using your card either, and its 5.45% interest!

What do you want to do when you graduate?

Well out of everything I've learnt at uni, I find programming the easiest :p. I'd be finished by now if I hadn't picked up Business too. I always question myself as to why I decided to do Accounting as well, but then I remind myself that I'm doing it because its useful and it serves as a backup...
