    POST- HSC anxiety

That's exactly how I feel. Gahhh. What can I do for 3 months? Nowhere wants to hire me...

    Anti-climax?

Yeah, I felt like that. There was such a big build up to graduation, it really was a fun term and then... over. Stuvac passed in a blur, dunno wtf I spent my time doing, then the HSC came and went and now, just nothing.

anyone working at fast food shops

That's got to be illegal! My oporto was recently taken over and so we were all on probation again under the new management, but we STILL were paid the normal wage, ie. $10 for me. That's so fucked, seriously, check your award wage and say something to the boss. That can't be right. And...

    bf/gf on schoolies?!?!?!?!!

"Aren't allowed to go"? That's fucked up.

    school rankings

Ugh, your UAI doesn't change. You can't say your UAI was 79, it just means that the uni cut-offs are lowered by 4 so you, with your 75, could get into a 79 course. Don't include your 'extra UAI points' when you go around bragging about your HSC, people!

Good DOCUMENTARY Related Texts For Physical Journey's ESSAY?

I know of an article about a group of boys walking the Kokoda trail in PNG to better understand the ANZAC spirit. It's really good for physical journeys and it's called "In the footsteps of ANZACs" from Channel 7's website. If you can't find it online, I can email you a copy. :) Amd Simbin -...

    Listening Task! What To Study?

Go over your techniques as well (similies, juxtaposition etc.) because in my listening text, there were some questions like "How does the composer represent elements of a physical journey?".

    Is GEOGRAPHY worth IT?

Wise decision, good luck! Hope you enjoy the course.

    no hsc..??

Yep, but that's good for you guys. They've cut out some of the harder/unecessary stuff, or so I hear.

    Which is worse?

See, I reckon a lot of us are thinking that the wait is worse because: - there's nothing we can do but twiddle our thumbs. During the HSC, you worry, sure, but you can do something about it. - most people having finished, the pain of the HSC is quickly forgotten... and we move on to the...

    Which is worse?

    Lol, that's me exactly.

    Which is worse?

Discuss - and I know this seems obvious for people still doing the HSC, but who knows, you might find you change your minds afterwards...

The "OMG I've Finished the HSC" thread

So this is freedom? Honestly, it's a bit weird that it's all over now. I feel... empty. Spose it doesn't help that I've got no immediate plans to celebrate. :/ But don't get my wrong, I'm stoked that I have more free time and nothing to cram for. Still, I had all these plans for after the HSC...

    Disadvantaged?

Well you asked, and I reckon I'd know a tad more about that considering I've finished the course and all  There actually is barely anything involving formulae in year 12 bio... photosynthesis and respiration, sure, but they don't need to be balanced. The only options which have...

The "OMG I've Finished the HSC" thread

Well, if that didn't give away who you are, the silver star in your profile would :) Anyway, well done on finishing! How does it feel? I'll call you tomorrow after I'm done too :D
  17. elisabeth

    Disadvantaged?

Not at all. That is a crap line of thinking.

    Spiel

OK, don't answer that question. It's sorted. Worauf freust du dich?

Your opinion on 'night before study'

Don't stay up too late, but get up early, do whatever wakes you up, big brekkie and maybe a casual read over your brief summaries. Do night before revision if you like, but ONLY revising stuff you know, don't try and cram since you've been studying consistently. Then do something to relax, cause...
