People have dropped out every year that I've been at uni. I think its D averages for all. Almost nobody goes for them mid-course, its pretty mind-boggling given how competitive they are pre-uni. Obviously its not something you could reliably plan for, but if you're honestly keen to do...

You're a bit misinformed, a cadetship gives you all of that too. (to describe a big4 auditing cadetship for instance)... You start in an intake of other trainees and make close friends because you'll end up arranging your classes together at uni, working together, etc. What you lack in...

My impression was that they look for 'quiet' achiever type because they have no desire to grow. I remember 2 years ago they were the only mid-tier firm that shrunk. Like wtf?

I'd assume PwC would be taking more people so I'd bend that way solely on that.
