    Syllabus question

re: independ: 1) yes, g = gm/r^2 I'm slightly rusty on Phys now that I didn't touch it for 1-2 years, but IIRC, ionisation blackout occurs at the point which re-entering vehicle causes significant friction with the gradually thickening atmosphere, thereby causes a number of ions as a result of...

    Grade Point Average (GPA)

it does? hmmm really? i was always under the impression that science faculty does NOT ignore your 1st year mark, just weigh it less.... Though I am aware that some faculties do.

    Syllabus question

There will be a formula, you will need to know how to use it though. Van allen belt may still be needed in the re-entry of space craft, IIRC.

    Naturally occuring bases

Mind if I ask where in nature produces sodium hydroxide in noticable quantity?

    Grade Point Average (GPA)

WAM is something used by science. And as far as I know, different faculty uses different method to caculate WAM or GPA. Science uses 1x 1st year mark, 2x2nd year mark etc. Some faculties ignore your first year mark all together.

that's precise what you should do. accept your main round, you have until 31st of March (usually) to withdraw with no penalty. Change your preference for late round. You never know. Substrate concentration Practical - Hydrogen peroxide and Liver

Oh, one more safety thing. Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidant. Avoid contact with skin, etc. It should also be handled in dark where possible.

    Displacement Reactions

Necro'ing old threads.... (ftw? meh.) morgan is completely right. However, presume the concentration of Cu2+ and Mg2+ always stay effectively unchanged, theroetically, there can be a point upon the deposition of copper metal can effectively cover the entirety of the magnesium surface. Since...

    Research Project: Biopolymers

Some text books (IIRC CCHSC) uses butanoate. I think the systematic name for PHB should be butanoate.

    renewable ethylene

I won't hit you, but I'll have to disagree on the arguement that ethylene is renewable. OK, fair enough. If the primary usage of ethylene is combustion, which produces carbondioxide and water as byproduct, which can then be reconverted back into glucose, and back to ethanol, and then back into...

    structure of molecules

awww that explains it. VCE would be tons different from HSC I think, especially since the governing bodies responsible for the sylabi are two different entities.

    Postgrad Dentistry

It won't, though I believe you need to do GAMSAT to apply graduate Dent. Moreover, GAMSAT requires some university level chemistry or physics. (See: http://www.dentistry.usyd.edu.au/student/bdent.php) Unless there are bridging courses that get your prepared for GAMSAT otherwise, you will be put...

Can you move from a double degree to a single one?

You are not really transfering in that sense... you are downgrading your degree. And no one says no to downgrades. Ok that was a joke, but the part about downgrade is (IMHO) the truth. Take me for eg, I'm doing Sci/Comm (which WAS under the administration of science faculty). And now, after...
