[ The token thread of increasing SPAM since the course ended ]

hey Jess, thanks for the comment. go on, i dare ya to try and write a better play, and you have the nerve to insult postmodernism! For shame. by the way, i hope you remember how much incriminating footage i have of you, you ain't seen nothin yet. you shall die a slow and painful...

    Powerplay

some good key terms are: manipulation subtle innuendo persuasion like Jakaveli said, it's mainly about the ways of using power, you have to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the characters of whatever text you're using. Then, you need to question how the other characters exploit this.

    should the journal be marked

we've been told that the journal is only read if there is a question as to the concepts used or the creativity of the work, so most markers don't even bother. the other thing is, markers only get about an hour to read each work so by the time they read it two or three times plus the rf, there...

    post-postmodernism

just when you think you understand postmodernism, another concept gets thrown your way. What does everyone think about the concept of post-postmodernism, the rejection of postmodern ideology by postmodern works, like Orlando which shows the limitations of challenging convention with the...

    should the journal be marked

    should the journal be marked

i put tons of work into the journal and it just seemed like such a waste. i don't think it should be marked, but it would be nice if it was read. it took me a year to complete the work, it would be nice if people knew how much i put into it, plus a lot of stuff could really be easily missed...

if you could see one point in history

if you could be best friends... i wouldn't even have to think - i put him up first for a reason and as tempting as Hitler is, i have to say Alexander the Great. Not only have i studied him in ancient, but my english ext2 major work was based on him.:D

    Family law

a good contemporary issue is same-sex couples - the debate over whether they should be classed as married or defacto piggybacking on Littlelease's idea of intro - grounds for marriage: - man/woman both over 18 OR family permission OR court order - legal marriage celebrant - two...

    History EXT

i'm an ancient and i love it too! ext is tons better though, it reminds me a lot of the ext english course, all the postmodern stuff about challenging the concept of truth and the question of historical bias. i may be new to the forums, but Tenille, i'm telling you DO EXT HISTORY!

    Postmodernism additional material

i keep on swinging back and forth aobut whether i like postmodernism or not, but i reckon the beauty of it is that all contemporary, and many older, texts can be used for related materials.:D

Why did you initially sign up for Extension 2?

all these people doing ext2 just for the scaling, what's wrong with this picture? i picked the subject because it's fun playing god. Muah, ha, ha. anyway, if the work sucks then scaling won't help much, i reckon if you did the course only because of the scaling then you did it for the...
