Well, you could try e-mailing the course conveyor or someone whose e-mail is attached to the unit page in the MQ handbook. You could also list the units here, maybe if someone has taken them in the past they can help you.

Try and check blackboard. Or if your lecture is before the tutorial, you will probably find out then. I have taken a unit with a compulsory practical/tutorial in the first week before. So they do exist :P.

I don't think you can really say arts/psychology is a double degree. It's a Bachelor of Arts - Psychology; not a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Psychology.

There will be certain tasks I think the iPad will be more suitable than others for Uni related work e.g. reading lectures notes in lectures.

I don't know....at least I took HLTH107, (intro to anatomy), and although Biology wasn't a prerequisite, it did give a little bit more confidence for the relevant work we covered in probably 1 lecture. You didn't *need* biology or anything, but still I would describe it as at least 'remotely'...
