    Units 2010

All the compulsory Psych units but also PSY250 - Music, mind and message. I'm pretty enthusiastic/keen about it.

Duno which course to pick .. ARGH

Both Macquarie and Kogarah are on different lines than Wollongong, and both will require one train change. There isn't much difference. But if the OP drives it will be much closer.

Duno which course to pick .. ARGH

My brother did general maths, got into engineering at UWS. Failed 4 subjects this year (all maths related). DO NOT DO ENGINEERING WITHOUT KNOWING YOU CAN CATCH UP. A classic example that UAIs do not reflect the difficulty of a course.

    Homosexuality in Australia

This isn't about justifying actions or morality, it's about what is 'naturally occurring'. You could say that homosexuality is wrong and not justified by animals because they do it, but you can't really say it's 'unnatural'. Humans are part of nature and are animals...

    Homosexuality in Australia

You can't suggest that if homosexual partnership is considered 'equally as important', people will be convinced they are bi.

    Homosexuality in Australia

That depends what you think the purpose of life is then, doesn't it?

    Homosexuality in Australia

The reason homosexuals don't create life is because they aren't motivated to stick their weiners, or have weiners stuck in them, to do so. They didn't choose that. Like, there is a strong motivation to create life for heterosexuals because of the sexual and emotional attraction to the opposite...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Yes, but I can question whether 'not making life' is an immoral thing.

    Homosexuality in Australia

Actually that's true (my kind of contradiction, ignore me almost). I would never agree it is damaging for society, only that it is wrong if God said it is - and if God existed and he really said those things. But as I said the part I disagree in is the existence of God/whether he said those...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Mm I guess. But living alone and abstinent is pretty sad/depressing. I don't know - I agree that if God existed and he believed/said these things, then obviously homosexuality would be wrong, if 'wrong' is defined as disobeying him of course. But I question the existence of God and (or) that...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Can you read coherently :P? It was the outcome of the contradiction he suggested. (I.e. claiming God created everything is flawed)

    Homosexuality in Australia

This is silly. I wish you could hear you say it in person, because it sounds so ridiculous. A homosexual cannot live happily in a heterosexual relationship because they are not sexually and emotionally attracted to the opposite sex - the things that are necessary and define what being in a...

    Homosexuality in Australia

The problem is when you use words like "alternative lifestyle" it implies homosexuals are choosing to do it instead of living a 'normal' heterosexual lifestyle, and heterosexuals could choose to live the 'alternate' homosexual lifestyle instead of living the 'normal' one. When obviously this is...

    UTS or Macquarie?

I'm not too sure about the reputation of both Unis, I mean Macquarie seems like a stronger and higher ranked/more focussed in research Uni than UTS, and with our new library and since we have a physical campus etc.. it seems like we have (or will have) better facilities. The Vice Chancellor also...

    Homosexuality in Australia

You do realise I was joking right? And the scary thing is that Christians such as Name_Taken actually believe this slippery slope to be true.
  17. D

    Homosexuality in Australia

I agree. Promoting homosexuality in society is only going to convince others to choose to become homosexual, and fuck: animals, their own family members, children. It also convinces others to commit adultery, to fornicate, masturbate - and use condoms/birth protection. Fucking homosexuals...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Not necessarily. Since we don't know precisely the cause of homosexuality, it is possible over time different numbers of people are affected etc.. But the obvious and most probable explanation is that, if gays are 'legalised/accepted', more are likely to be come out of the closet. So nothing...

    law @ UWS?

Do you want to do Law? If yes, then yes. If no, then no.

    Homosexuality in Australia

So, hypothetically. Two homosexual virgins, become long-time partners. Participate in consensual sex with each other and only each other, remain faithful to each other for life. They haven't 'given themselves over to a culture and lifestyle of godless self-abuse' (though perhaps not depending...
