    Huh? The first explanation is right, I made a stupid mistake on that question and I think a lot of other people seemed to as well. The basic explanation is the lower quartile is the median of the bottom half of the scores (in this case 45 from memory) and the upper quartile is the 600th number...

    Did working out the perimetre and multiplying it by 1.1 work? I couldn't be bothered to work it out, but it's a clever method. I found the surface area or the rectangle (minus the top) annd then used the cylinder surface area formula but didn't have two circles, just one. I got 80 anyway.

    Why would you change it to weeks... because the spread sheet was annual you only had to multiply it by 12

    Annuities table was for every dollar, so you had to match the number of years and rate then times the number 4.something by 3600. As for the pool question I'll lookat it later and try to explain because my parents are looking at the question booklet downstairs

    Hmm... I know the y was half, but doesn't that 2 affect the x as well? *shrugs* I just answered it the same way as you did anyway.

    I'd agree that it seemed wrong, I just tried to say something about it. I thought the equation should've been X*2y + pi y^2

    Oh damn, I should've read the question better... Is dividend yeild meant to be a pencentage or monetary value? Because i kept changing my mind throughout the text but I couldnt be bothered looking it up.

    my 2c, q 17 I think should be b as c=2x3+5 Also you're answer for 28aiii seems off to me, I got about 33.27 or something (I didn't write this) I think you may have forgotten to divide by 1000 to get fromlitres to kilolitres

    It's an area chart, the darkest grey was school shoes. The answer was about 15000, which I got from 17500-2500.
