    How competitive is year 12?

I find Physics, English Advanced and English Extension 1 to be competitive. Also, every other Science based subject at my school tends to be competitive (primarily in Physics and Chemistry). Nothing suprising.

    Rounding up on Assessments/Tests.

Our Physics results have been scaled, and that remains our final mark for that specific assessment task. I believe it is done on all our tests...

    Which rank is better?

    Don't forget Philosophy.

    Plans for the holidays

    Plan - Do Nothing.
  5. M

What are your cumulative/rankings so far and what is your aim by the end of the year?

I currently have the irritating state of maintaining basically all of my ranks... However, I am likely to lose all of them.

    GoodLuck

    Good luck to you also.

    english hate

I don't mind it. However, I have an English assessment tomorrow combined with no preparation, which is a concern.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Plans for after the HSC?

Re: Where is your UAI going to take you? In relation to the thread title, perhaps nowhere.
  9. M

    Assessment marks...

Perhaps, if you earn 90%+ for each of the following assessments, and rank fairly highly by the end of the internal school year. Ensure your actual HSC exam results are high as well, and you should be fine.

Is it too late to get a UAI 90+

No, it isn't too late to attain a UAI of 90+, however; - Attempt to rank in the top three as a minimum for each of your subjects (obviously, preferably first). If you work hard enough, the trials can be your medium to making up for your ranks. If you don't however, I wouldn't expect a 90+ UAI.
  11. M

wat happens if u fuck up trials?

Ah...that is very nice to know. However, as for the initial, simply no. A girl I know received a 99+ UAI despite 'crashing' in every one of her trial exams due to illness (no, she didn't go to James Ruse).

    HSC and Family Pressure/Expectations

Re: Pressure From Parents I understand. I am currently first in three of my subjects and quite close to rank first in all of my other subjects...and I'm told it was 'no good'.

    You Aye Eye. estimate meh!!

Haha. Try your best (which includes attempting to destroy her), and I assure you, beating the so called 'intelligent' person at your school is extremely amusing.

2007 HSC Rankings - EVERY SCHOOL LISTED.

By moving from my previous school, I went up 246 ranks..... Hahaha.....
  15. M

    Screw HSC markers

    A most commendable post.

    Teachers Being Away!!!!

Exactly, though four of my teachers are completely useless, and I have needed to teach myself also. I could only advise what everyone else has - complain.
  17. M

What topic are you up to in the following subjects?

Physics - Cathode Ray Tubes. Biology - Pathogens. English Advanced - Module A (another Module after this one).
  18. M

    Half-Yearly Reports

    I'm last in everything.
