no worries midget! music 2 is hard only if you make it hard! prac is no problems for most people, just study the level you are at (try pushing for 7th if you feel up to it by the time the HSC comes around). but make sure the piece fits your technical capabilities. There's no point...

Music 1 or Music 2!? can someone help me out?:)

you can change your courses up to start of the HSC year (so you can do yr 11 and then swap) so id say start off as music 2, then if you find its not as accomodating for the sax you can switch to music 1 my friend dropped mus 2,hard for her to find sax music that fitted into our topic....she...

totally agree with the destressing/relaxing thing! Music is what relaxes me. Ironic, however, that music was the subject that got me most stressed this year! parko :D

    sports medicine

yes, just that cold encourages vasoconstriction and heat encourages vasodilation. constriction-decreases swelling dilation- increases blood flow for tissue recovery etc etc etc parko :D

m.c sheet------pen or pencil: pen right?

i think you have to use pencil because its a neatness thing. U can rub out pencil, not pen.... i remember getting a lecture about it in yr 8 maths, people didnt draw their cubes and spheres in pencil....but i cant remember the reason why! parko :D

    I heard a rumour!!!

yeah there seems to be a stigma attatched to TAFE that it isnt as good as a university education, which is a shame. people just need to be educated about the education systems available i think, and yeah, realise that finding a place where they can do what they love (wether that be uni, TAFE...

    Sports med question

look at the syllabus PD/H/PE Syllabus pdf the heading says "ADULT AND AGED" so technically adults come under it, but the focus is on aged athletes. So yes they are named in the syllabus, but no, noone has learnt anything about them :p parko :D

    I heard a rumour!!!

thats an awesome idea. I hope it catches on. I know our school has a yr 11 parent info night thing, but it just discusses the structure of senior levels of study, etc etc etc. They're starting to talk about VET and TAFE abit more, but still not many kids in my year know that they can get into...

    sports medicine

thankyou  taping and bandaging is just an extra thing i put in. It isnt in the syllabus for prog. mob (its under return to play) but i put it in there cos i know an athlete can sometimes feel not very confident that the injury will be able to withstand the pressure placed on it. The...

    I heard a rumour!!!

yes! kids at school are begining to learn that through the incorporation of VET courses and TAFE courses in the HSC. Now parents, relatives, the media, etc etc need to know this aswell! the HSC does work. It's sposed to test you- thats why it's hard (well bits of it anyways!). You're...

    sports medicine

i think 8 marks was fair for it. there was a fair bit to cover (not huge amounts i know, but if you used an example you can talk about the concepts in more depth) i talked about application of cold right after injury ocurs (acute phase) to reduce pain, swelling, circulation, muscle spasm and...
