    re: syllabus summaries

Ugh - don't make notes. Your own notes will end up screwing you in the backside. You're better off getting exam questions with answers and writing answers again and again. Look for more sources and validate some responses as different sources can provide misinformation - yes even textbooks

    i am confused, help plz.

You mean *pedanticism* :D They simply conduct electricity because there are ions. But this is only the case in liquid or solution form, since solid states contain molecules, which are non-conducting. Case closed.

    Soft Drink Prac

Errors include: -some of the soft drink might evaporate, hence making mass change reading incorrect. -The weight reading will fluctuate since the ions and water molecules are excited and gradually cool off. This is so because the excited particles exert more force on the balance as they jump...

    Question

When we did Jane Eyre for Mod B, we read critics but weren't required to talk about them in the exam. But of course any added reading helps support your essays. Think along the lines of philosophers, critics, reviewers, etc. as well when you're discussing texts. May not be necessary but...

    English error

I know, but it does give a fairer assessment within the course itself. But I was just making a point about SAM, not my own conspiracies, hehe.

    English error

Ahh but Lazarus, these are HSC marks, which have ALREADY been aligned. Seems to me there is a glitch in the system, wouldn't you agree? hehe

    For Those Doing Frontline

Alternatively scab someone else's notes and watch an episode to get the general feel for it. :D

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

It's crap in the sense it is too hard and there's little experience in teachers on the subject and the texts can also get boring/annoying.

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

I can tell, you thought I was a girl...

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

Thought you meant essays by that...but at any rate...damn. hehe, nah I can mark for ya if you want.
  11. C

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

Michael Featherstone is another good one. But you also need critics of the texts themselves to get a better perspective on how these texts are viewed in relation to globalisation.

    Telling the truth...

The motive behind Dr Kelly's suicide with regards to weapons of mass destruction.

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

Hehe nah I don't tutor and neither of us tutor in english. But we did a project as our half yearly - it was a massive interview. My suggestion is NOT to memorise, as this will not work. You'll find yourself with plenty of time in the exam to think about the question and write confidently. The...

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

Either that or a really really good teacher (which we did not have...)

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

LOL - bastard. I helped you heaps too!

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

Did everyone finally realise RFTG is one of the shittiest electives ever made?! Well to be fair, it wasn't that bad - I studied a lot towards the end and it apparently paid off - but it wasn't easy. You really had to read things that weren't stated in the syllabus, such as reading up on...

    ID cards

When exactly are we meant to get our student ID cards???

Who will be starting med March 1 2004?
