    Experiments!!!

Oh for God's sake, don't be so lazy and look it up yourself. It's in your textbook (Jacaranda and Excel) or failing that, you have internet access, with tonnes of HSC help sites. Try this one: http://webs.mn.catholic.edu.au/physics/emery/hsc_motors.htm I think the Board of studies made a...

    Free maths notes!

Maths notes are a waste of time. Fools who can't remember such basic things or think for themselves make them and waste other people's time. Questions are the only way to go.

    my physics summary

Hmm, not that his notes are bad, but I strongly discourage people from LEARNING off other people's notes. It shows laziness and your laziness will show in the exam. His brief points and summaries will only confuse you and cover very basic elements of the dotpoint, insufficient for exam...

    What do you think?

Wow, you must have very flexible (or lazy) teachers to allow you such a task. Well the easiest one (the one we did) was a speech on space pioneers: -identify data sources, gather, analyse and present information on the contribution of one of the following to the development of space...

    Your mark out of 500

Ehm, are you guessing your aggregates, using a UAI predictor or what?

    Best Uni for medicine?

Ahh, I see. Well fair enough, but you didn't have to put it so bluntly and rudely, geez. You're thinking in very technical terms, rather than how it is loosely treated amongst common folk. I don't think it'll personally affect me (and if it will, not for a while) so I have the right to be a...

    Best Uni for medicine?

lol - chill Lexico, you're biting everyone's heads off. Lots of misconceptions out there, yes, but it doesn't really matter what people think because in the end no employer really cares which uni you went to. But I've talked to a few tutors, UNCLE is preferable to both Usyd and UNSW in terms...

    Soft Drink Prac

There's no real strict experiment... -Basically you measure the mass of the soft drink before and after opening it. -The reaction is H2CO3 --> CO2 + H2O (the equilibrium shifts due to the reduction in pressure) -Therefore, since CO2 is emitted as a gas, you can measure the reduction in...

    Places to do MBBS

GAMSAT tests you on knowledge mostly. (hence very dissimilar to UMAT) They test you in essay writing on current events n stuff, biology, chemistry and physics (usually first year or HSC level) It's hard because even if you do well, there's an interview waiting for you at the end of the...

    Best Uni for medicine?

    It's not available at Macquarie.

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

The texts. :P For The Castle, just watch it conscientiously and all the quotes will come to you. The Heaney poems are trickier, you might need to research on the net for critics interpretations of the poems to fully understand what potentially relevent quotes are on about.

    Question for past HSCers

Beginning to end. It's really short, you should have no problem finishing it if you've studied.

Where are all the Retreat from the Global people?!

Wonder why no one is doing The Shipping News

    Best Uni for medicine?

All countries recognise Australia's medical graduates, but in a lot of cases, you must do a written examination to back it up. (except places like UK, NZ, Singapore, etc.)

Nah I burnt my Lofts books. But I can't burn that voice in the back of my head...poppycock!

    Places to do MBBS

Depends what sort of doctor you are...it's more accurate to say there is a demand for GPs - but not necessarily *everywhere*- moreso in rural areas or places like Newcastle.

    i am confused, help plz.

It's like the same way metals conduct. There is a sea of negative and positive particles, i.e. ions/electrons. In the same way, in solutions there are negative and positive ions. Due to a potential difference, the anions will move toward the anode as oxidation occurs and at the cathode, the...

    i am confused, help plz.

All ions conduct electricity - not necessarily H+ or OH- and not all acids/bases necessarily contain these ions (just to clarify your message)
