The other week I asked if I could start an hour earlier in turn for finishing earlier and my CSM was fine with it.

    Semester 1 Timetables

I was just using the 'customise my timetable' feature to put block off certain time periods, and it gave me an example timetable of what it might look like with those changes and I didn't like it, so I just closed the window - the last official timetable I saw is still the timetable I have isn't it?

    Semester 1 Timetables

If I choose to block out an entire day/two 5 hour periods, will my new timetable just change the units that were within these blocked out times or can it potentially change everything?

    Rules for Customers

LOL. I've gotten "Can I have menthol?" And the lady looked at me like I was stupid when I tried to get her to specify which brand and then she asked if I was new even though I've been working there for nearly 2 years...

    2009 Main Round cut-offs

True =]. Wow. Yeah, I figured that cut-offs were not always so strict...but I just assumed that even people who got below the cut offs would have been accepted by now, thus making no more room left for late and final round people with lower UAI's. I guess not... I thought that at first...

    2009 Main Round cut-offs

Is there any point in applying for Late Round offers in a course that doesn't have the little (V) vacancy symbol next to the course?

    Pens: favourite type, colour etc

I once used a felt tip pen in an in class assessment and on the feedback sheet the teacher wrote "Do not use felt tip pen." And I asked why afterwards and she said, when she marked the HSC, the lighting in the shed place they do it in is rather strange, when you've been marking heaps of essays...

    Balance ?

Thank you for the clarification =]

    Balance ?

For some of the past essays I've done, the teacher has always commented that I should have more balance between texts ie. address each text in equally. However, should the prescribed text be discussed more or to the same degree as the ORT's? If the question asks to discuss two ORT's, should...

    1. Yeah, you could ask "is that the total amount?" - I got taught to ask "do you need any cash out?" because I think it gets straight to the point. Yes, and then you just press the buttons and they swipe etc... 2. Press the cash button, select how much they've given you, then the drawer should...

    The Woolworths Thread

Oh - and the question I originally came here to ask... I want to take time off for the HSC, so I got one of those Leave Applications. At the top it asks you to tick what kind of leave it is. Is this considered study leave or annual leave? If I choose study leave, can I still get paid for the...

    The Woolworths Thread

Woolies know how much tax has been deducted from your pay and at the end of the financial year when you get your Group Certificate that states this amount, it's your task then to fill in the form/do your tax online - thus, it'll be your TFN applied to a certain amount tax. Don't worry too...

It's ok to just hand in the Tax declaration form without having the tax file number on there...or just wait until you do get it and then hand it in. Just tell your store that you don't have your TFN yet and it'll be fine. For a month they'll just tax half your pay.

I take the tickets down on a Sunday evening...on the roster is says I'm a 'Systems Operator' on that day... Should I include this in my resume alongside being a service cashier or is it just...no. Is it too small a job to put down...?

    whats your record...?

Ehh, I've done an all-nighter once. I had three assignments due the next day - I literally started my English one at 2am. The assignments were all due between 9am-10am...I literally just finished them at 9:30. I usually just stay up until 3am or so. If I'm not done, I wake up at 5 or 6 to...
