my extension 1 maths said units- 2 as well. I thought it must have been a typo... it wouldn't be a two unit subject coz the mark is reported out of 50, not 100, and the bands are different... or maybe i'm wrong in which case i'll shut up...

Thanks for replying. By stuffing up the exams i mean i think i got about 70-80 max for all my exams. So it probably not possible. The difference between the Advanced Program and normal science is you can skip some first year subjects, only do some research subjects and get honours after 3 years...

i didn't like it much- i wrote more for the one mark piezoelectric question than like the four mark pet one... oops! I'm kinda dumb! But on the plus side no more physics and no more exams for me... its just time to play the waiting game, which i find much worse!

until last night i had only done rites of passage, but the nice people on the hsc advice line spent over two hours teaching me rites of public worship so i'm so glad i actually rang it otherwise twenty marks would have been gone like (snaps fingers) that.

I thought they were really good for studies of religion last night- they spent over two hours calming me down and taught me an entire topic that our school didn't. Without it i would have automatically lost 20 marks of a 50 mark exam and they were just so encouraging. So yeah I found it heaps...

my teachers appealing about this question- apparently that point was removed from the syllabus when it was revised. He photocopied a copy of both the syllabuses and sent them to the board. He was really spewing! More than any of us... lol...

i thought it was stuff about how vacuum valves (or whatever they're called) needed time to warm up, were relatively large and produced too much heat etc which led to the invention of the transistor bla bla something about silicon bla bla. I dunno... we never talked about inventors....
