How much do you pay per week for your Fitness First Membership? [rip off]

I pay $60 per month, seems a but steep but it includes all gym, all classes and also, squash and wallclimbing, not to mention free equippment hire... They offered me $165 for three months but decided not to. I might go off it as the HSC gets even closer... Less than 6 months left - then I'm...

    Favourite item of clothing

You shoud all go and check out Armani Exchange... It has some really great, not overly expensive clothes that tend to follow seasonal tends. I find that if you pay a bit more for clothing it's in for longer. There's nothing worse than buying something that become unpopular in a few months. If it...

    Should English Be Compulsary Poll

True... although if people weren't made to study English there would probable be far less people in the course, as indicated by the survey. Even if heaps of people don't want to do it, I still think that it should be compulsory. By studying English, student learn - even when they don't realise...

    Pens: favourite type, colour etc

Re: blue or black pen? Red for headings, blue for text. blue in exams, otherwise (If black that is) it can clash with the black lines of th paper... Just can stand it when they clash! (mild - moderate OCD creeps in...)

    Should English Be Compulsary Poll

English is hardly about writing essays and other menial, albeit necessary tasks... It is all about the understanding and higher thinking skills that you've learned while writing the essays and coming up with the reasoning. Also, the English Ext. Course is MUCH more enjoyable and really builds up...

BAcc 2008 Applicants to 2009 entry

Re: BAcc 2008... I emailed Gareth Prosser last year and he said that they usually get about 700-800 people applying and then about 200-300 get an interview. Hopefully, I'll be one of those - maybe even one of the 40 or so... :)

BAcc 2008 Applicants to 2009 entry

Re: BAcc 2008... You can't save it, you must print out the final copy there and then, and hand it in to someone at your school for the bottom section (I'm using the principal). Then, the school will fax it through to UTS. Couldn't be simpler! It's a bit annoying though - not being able to save...

Re: BAcc 2008... So... who will be going to the Information night at UTS? I certainly will be going - with my friend Heather (She's not much into the hole accounting thing though). What sort of topics do they talk about on the night? I have been looking ont accounting and what it entails...

BAcc 2008 Applicants to 2009 entry

Re: BAcc 2008... That funny cos I'd be hoping to get into Macquarie... From what I've heard, they push a really competitive atmosphere and work ethic, which I really like. They also encourage creative freedom (within reason) so accounting and finance doesn't have to be all numbers, facts and...

Re: BAcc 2008... I've been getting really involved in the SRC in times of late, esp fundraising. I'm thinking about starting a charity, many applicants that have been selected have started great fundraisers and I have some good friends who will help me there... We're going to the future...

    JPMorgan Portfolio Competition 08

Is is anything like the ASX sharemarket game? I'm doing that again this year, we don't have to, but it's pretty fun anyway... I've made about $2000, if only it were real!

Re: BAcc 2008... So what would a representative have to offer if they came to the school? Wouldn't want to waste their time. I'd like for one to come, though I mightn't be able to get so many other people who are interested, unfortunatly. Last year, our YAA company won the national company of...

Re: BAcc 2008... I'm on the south-coast at Narooma High School, I thought that the reps only came to the city schools? I like if one would come though. I know that there is an info day later in the year, which I will be going to. I've been watching the course for over a year now and I really...
