I reckon 50% will even get you an E3 this year dude. General idea is that it was a tough test, people i know personally who were expecting 70s raw got around 50s. My teacher thinks this year only 60-65% is required for an E4 so you should be right.

I'd guess low to mid 70s? Couldnt be sure though..

Just wanted to ask if the school's rank will help in anyway to boost the 4 unit marks. My school ranked 3rd in the state for maths last year, so i'm sorta hoping this gives a bit of an advantage?

Based on what people are saying about the general diffculty of the test. I'd reckon about 80.

It varies, but i'd guess an average of around 50-55%. This year will be much lower though i reckon.

Ahh k sweet, yeah i knew that but i get confused. By band 3 you meant E3 which is a big relief lol. Will it be affected in any way by my schools rank, last year coming third in the state for maths??

Lol, damn! I really hope that 60% is aligned to band 6 this year, putting me close to the band 5 region..

That was easily the hardest paper i have seen in all my studies of 4 unit maths this year lol. So I'm really praying that the rest of the state found it hard too! Any guesstimates on what 50% would be aligned to, taking into account the level of difficulty?

Do you guys think all 3 sections in Paper 2 will be essays? God i hope so..But if not, what other text types can they ask?
