When Paper 1 is over, I'm going to.....

...eat, then study for Paper 2.

When the HSC is OVER I'm going to....

Indeed :) I finish Nov 3rd too. Woot! After the HSC is over... I'm going to sleep, for many many hours. Clear out my wardrobe since I'm going on a huge shopping spree overseas. Burn/pack away/give away/sell HSC notes. I would go out with friends, but they all finish later. Sucks to be them...

    panic panic panic

I know this may sound like a waste of time, but you could try meditating. Just put on some relaxing music and sit there with your eyes closed. Don't think about the HSC, concentrate on your breathing. If you can't do that, at least just think about something that makes you happy, opposed to...

What subject are YOU screwed for?

My friend who has 12 units is doing the same thing (ironically, she didn't even study for her trial exam and got a better mark than me for 3U maths. Then again, she's a genius). But me, I only have 10 units :( I did have 11 before I dropped History Ext. So unfortunately I'll have to try my best.

What subject are YOU screwed for?

I'm probably screwed for Ext 1 Maths :( Almost failing every past paper you do can't be a good sign.

less than a week to go..how u feeling??

Word. Every time we all walk into the hall, you can just tell people are darting toward the non-wobbly desks. I'll probably panic if I get a wobbly desk during English or Modern, more so than panicking over the fact that I'm not totally prepared :p Anyway, good luck everyone. Don't stress too...

    Stress!!!!11

I think I have a short attention span when it comes to things I don't like. So with studying, once I get stuck on a maths problem, or don't know where to go next in an essay, I just stop doing it and start procrastinating or doing something irrelevant to study. And nothing can scare me into...

for all those leaving schools ne Tips for year 12: 2007?

Don't procrastinate. It will do wonders. If you get a booklet to read, read it and make notes on it the day you get it. Don't delay. If you do maths, keep up to date with your maths homework or you'll be screwed. Stop thinking "oh I'll do it tomorrow". To avoid procrastination, isolate...

    Stress!!!!11

I wouldn't say I'm stressed, maybe just concerned now that the HSC is in like 2 weeks. I've gotten into a horrible pattern of going "I'll bludge today, and work really hard tomorrow!" But then tomorrow come, I say the same thing I'm a horrible procrastinator, which makes things even worse...

Who hasn't started studying yet/hasn't done much ???

I've attempted to study, but haven't accomplished much I get distracted so easily. I'm almost done writing an essay for Modern which I did today, and I've done a few (by a few I mean like four altogether for 2U and 3U) maths past papers over the past couple of weeks. Haven't touched English...

    That's All! School's Over...What Now?

I haven't done anything this whole week. Graduation was today :( it's finally sinking in that school is actually over. I'm not a fan of high school, but I feel so sad and will definitely miss lunchtimes with friends and the better part of high school. So many memories. Damn it I'm feeling all...

who's shit scared of the HSC?

No. But that's because it hasn't sunk in yet. I'm sure I'll start panicking in a week or two :p

    Graduation Day

It hadn't really sunk in yet until today after our muck-up assembly :( When we were all on stage singing together and waving our arms around, I suddenly felt really nostalgic about it all and it just hit me that this is really the end. Next week we have our breakfast and luncheon and our...

    Anyone else screwed?

You're not alone. I've been drifting along aimlessly because I feel so unmotivated to study. I drew up a study timetable yesterday, but no guarantees I'll stick to it. But may as well try what I can right now since I wasn't one of those people who have consistently worked hard throughout. I...

    Theres something wrong with me

I thought I was alone on the tired thing. Good to know I'm not though! I think after the trials everyone just burnt out. Except I think I should have recovered by now, thus the 'something is wrong with me'. I actually feel completely exhausted after school everyday...sometimes even during school.

    Theres something wrong with me

You're not alone. I feel exactly the same. I think I'm just drifting along now...slowly burning out. It's worrying me because the HSC is nearing and I still feel no motivation. I really just can't be bothered anymore and for some reason I'm always tired and need to sleep. I just keep thinking...

Do you think you are screwed in the HSC?

Feel free to offend me :p I know very well I'm not doing as much as I can and deserve to get kicked for it. But I will say in my defence that I definitely do NOT complain about it to my friends. The most I say is "I didn't do so great so stop telling me your 91% is a fail". With me, it's kind of...

Do you think you are screwed in the HSC?

Mmhm I think I'm majorly screwed for the HSC. It seems no matter how hard I try (though I must say that's not very hard) I never get marks I'm happy with. I suppose it doesn't help that school makes me want to hurl nowadays. Six years of hearing everyone torment over their marks in this school...

    highlighting

Highlighting is sweeet :) But no, I don't highlight the school textbooks. I only underline in pencil and write notes in pencil. Our English teacher said to to go ahead and vandalise the novels with notes in pencil, but to use those colourful stick-it thingies instead of highlighting. But for...

How serious are you about the HSC?

I just finished my trials today, so I won't be doing much for the next few days except relaxing. I'll slowly slip back into the whole stuyding rhythm a day at a time. I'm not sure I'm serious about the HSC. I want to do well, but at the same time I really don't care. I just want to get out of...
