are you meant to send a notification that you are willing to participate? or do they just assume that if you don't send them the thing about not participating they will just survey you?

It's the degree with the higher cutoff (so commerce = 95) I'm doing mechatronic/commerce :) But I don't do commerce till year 2...

I found Excel Mathematics (HSC Version I think) really useful and summarised and easy to understand. But of course then you need a heap of practice papers to top it off... Edit - opps ur in prelim...well I don't know then sorry...Excel Maths HSC just breezes through the prelim topics.

When do you guys usually buy your text books? During the semester or before? Also most of these text books only last for one semester before it's of no use right? Just doesn't seem worth paying 500 to last a semester.
