um... the theory test for unsw was waaaayyy easier than the one at the con!!! I almost started crying after i did the aural test at the con.... BUt yeah the unsw stuff was quite straight forward id say it was around grade 3-4 or sumthing... but thats just to divide you up into different classes...

nope - u dont have to use traditional notation - u can make up ur own stuff, as long as it makes sense and that its notated clearly so its easy to read.

you should play some fully weird contemporary piece where you bow under neath the strings and scrape your nails up and down the strings on the fingerboard and play your violin upside down and make lots of strange noises.
