To drop or not to drop?

i love it but it is SO MUCH WORK. and the work is probably quadrupled because i have a shit teacher who makes us do it ourselves. aaargh it's my best subject but it drives me up the wall sometimes (like, now).

Who thought the paper was easy?

I do 3u. And that paper was all 2u, BUT there were things that would have been much more easy to recognise for a 3u student. Like Q10a - that was simple co-ordinate geometry, but a 3u person is used to seeing parametrics and would be less phased by it all. That sort of thing.

    q4 biased toward 4 unit

haha i didn't have issues with that (i'd done a similar question the day before so i'd learnt those things...thankfully!!!!) but a lot of other people were annoyed with it. things i DID have issues with, tho, include part 3 of the projectiles question and pretty much all of q7. dammit.

    q4 biased toward 4 unit

i actually did that one with no problem. i mean, i initially went "oh, sin^2x, must be 1/2(1-cos2x) before realising the substitution. what a few of my friends had issues with was that one with tanx/2 = t...that's 3u maths, but in 4u terms. sort of like our 2u paper question 10a - it was 2u...

    2u MATHS WAS EASY!

what971, please desist from gloating. i didn't find the paper difficult, but it wasn't a walk in the park either. the last question was a bit...sideways and odd to understand initially, and i suck at practical applications of calculus so i don't think i did those questions brilliantly. overall...

Who thought the paper was easy?

Haha, go me!! And no, that one's White Rabbit - but my old one was Ron and Hermione, where Hermione grabs his arm. ETA: who is in your av dreamerish? is it kristen kreuk?

It better be, because that's what I did. I actually drew a frigging tree diagram for this question and confused myself like crazy, before resorting to a bit of 3u maths - ie, (3P3)*100/300*100/299*100/298. The only one that really stumped me badly was that stupid one about the maximum rate it...

Who thought the paper was easy?

me!! ok, not easy, but relaxing and quite nice. a fair paper. finished it, and i'm pretty sure i got most of it right. it's the best paper i've done so far (HSC wise) although really, that's not saying much since i fucked up adv eng so incredibly badly.

    Solutions

I did the same thing in the exam - wrote down each year and the payment beside it. I got end of 2017...hope it's ok. Additionally with Q10b... I got 7/16 for the first bit, and 17 minutes 34 seconds for the second. Because there would be two triangles, right, making up a square with area...

    3 Speeches Wtffffff

i learned four, but practiced writing essays with two. (either socrates and lincoln, or goldman and keating). so i was pissed off at three speeches, not because i didn't know a third, but because i wasn't used to writing a 40 minute essay with three speeches. it was unsettling, my prior...

can one u explain something to me?

i will answer because it is revision. failure of generals to accommodate for modern, industrialised warfare. eg: haig thought he could still use cavalry. that sort of thing. this led to their failure to use novel tactics and technology and thereby break the stalemate. Failure of...
