If you're doing timber and funishings I don't see why not. For example.. an entertainment unit would look unfinished without say glass in the windows, or my dressing table would have looke dunfinished without a mirror in the mirror frame.

I had slightly better results in pretty similar subjects and i got 78.5 in 2004.. so i reckon ur looking between 70 to 75.. based on that HSC exams have a big weighting on your UAI

yeah because it's so totaly easy to make something worthy of a band 5 or 6 and so totaly easy to get the mark in the exam worthy of a band 5 and 6.. douche..

yeah that sthe fitting you would use.. you wouldn't make a mortice and tennon and use a knock down fitting. You just have the butt joint and then the knockdown fitting to hold it in place. Perhaps even a doweld butt joint could be a suitable answer. Perhaps even those little corner brackets...

so the traditional joint would be like a Mortice and Tennon and the cabinet hardwear would be like a knock down fitting, I'm sure there is some info on these in one of the text books you have.
