i teach piano and clarinet. piano quite a low standard, but clarinet from beginners to about AMEB grade 5. I've never put any kids through exams. I think i really do undercharge. But I dunno... i feel like i'm not good enough to charge more than i do...

Well it really depends on what interests you! I haven't chosen musicology so i'm not going to be much help... but maybe 1945 - 25years ago would be interesting because it looks at the time period leading up to the mandatory topic. Alternately, a focus in Jazz in this time period could be groovy...

yes that seems like what i'm going to do. have a scale of maybe 1-5 and have them labelled like 'never' and 'always'
