I got an all-rounders scholarship from MUSA, and am yet to sign the contract but they got in touch with me at the beginning of february.

Partner schools scholarships are only available to mq partner schools, obviously, but ehy only give out 12 each year and its a one off payment of $2500. you have to get a high uai, have leadership, be involved in sports, extra-curricular etc etc. i found out who got them just a few days ago

my gf got in the top 5 fo english advanced, and top 10 for legal studies in the state, and she didnt know until the actual day the paper came out, she's an honour roll and premiers ppl also

yeah i do leading edge on sundays they're pretty good

Did anyone else think that the creative piece was a bit left field? I mean it wasnt totally screwed, but you get where i'm coming from. Post how u tihnk it was?

yeah i agree, wrote too much for q1 and only 10 pages in creative. it was a bit weird [the question i mean]

i dont think its too risky, but i do RT so im not really sure. bu im sure a marker who has done tons of papers will be glad to see some unique variations!

the first genre question was solid, gave all candidates the opportunity to get some marks, and the better people to show what they knew, Creative for RT was a bit whack, but it was okay. i thought it was easier than last years paper.

i thought it was okay, the whole conventions thing applied to a mass group of students, but there was scope for better candidates to show their knowledge, gave the opporunity to mention genre theories such at the auteur and parallel paradigm theory. overall pretty good, only did 2 prescribed...
