It just depends whether there IS a background speakers course. Obviously for the less well-known/popular languages like Hindi or Danish or whatever, there aren't beginners and continuers courses, just a background speakers one for people who want their native skills to count for something. I...

That's a bit slack of your teacher. If you're ripping along and can obviously handle it, so much the better. And you will fall in the top band if you consistently + accurately use advanced structures, so you'll ace it mate. Good luck! EDIT: exactly, you've got it :D
