    Good Luck all!

Yep, good luck! Let's hope we get a good paper. (If you're religious, have a chat to your preferred deity about it for us, k? Thanks. :D)

    2005 Section 3

I'm so confused about that question. I was told as a general rule, if they mention 'you' in the question, you can sprinkle stuff in the first person all the way through, which I never do, but I did today. But I get the feeling that was wrong :/ I'm not entirely sure I answered the question...

    screw the exams!

*gasp* that was way harsh Don't forget also: "if you ever did anything that wasn't 90% selfish, I'd die of shock".

    Why am i not scared?

Yeah. Last night I was even the tiniest bit psyched, wondering what questions we'd get and thinking I could do better (when going through the standards packages, lol). But then a wave of fear hits me a bit afterwards.

    Creative Response feedback

Ditto to what Casmira said. I liked the ending and the story. Just be careful with the little things, like the sister's name goes from Avril to April.

    Your standards

Well it's a bit easier to compare ideal UAIs because most people have plugged their ideal marks into SAM and it's quicker than writing your mark hopes for each and every subject. And yes, SAM isn't completely accurate, but it's close enough. I never said anyone should be ashamed of their...

    Calm before the storm

Start making your notes NOW then. Seriously, I know you all think "Oh, heaps of time later"... but look at it this way. Go hard at it for a month, it'll help heaps for assessment tasks and tests, and you've got the rest of the year to learn it slowly, so when it comes to the HSC you're not...

    Your standards

Yeah, there are always other pathways to your desired career, but I was more curious just about what everyone's personal standards for themselves are. I'm not worried about getting into uni, and I bet a lot of other people aren't. It's more a question of your personal standards, based on the way...

    Your standards

Was just talking about this with some friends... what UAI do you personally, for yourself, feel is acceptable? (Not what you think you'll get or want). You can even split it into these categories: You'll die of shame if you get under... xx.xx You won't tell anyone what you got if you get...

anyone working at fast food shops

Oporto, $10.xx per hr for a 17 yr old

Do you have to be a chick to get a job at Sportsgirl?

Yeah, I know someone who works there... they're arses sometimes, hitting on the hot young girls and being slack to random people just for their fun.
  13. elisabeth

how would you answer this question???

You can't place all the blame on your school. If it has limited resources and crap staff, well, that really sucks. But there are so many other places to get info from... So if your ranks are good, you'll be to some extent protected from how your classmates do, especially if you go well in...

    Goodluck

Let's see how many languages we can get in here, then... Viel Glück Buena suerte Onnea!

    Things to help you sleep

Well personally, I'm just a night person and it always takes me an hour or so to get to sleep. For my whole life, so it's not just a question of stress.

    What UAI do you want?

Need 97.25 for my course... of course, second preference is only 68, I'm not worried about getting into uni. It's more the prestige factor.
  17. elisabeth

    Things to help you sleep

    Yep, that'd be nice.

    What UAI do you want?

Hey :) I though you did your HSC last year?

    Spiel
