the cut-off is determined by the number of places offered. for eg if there are a 100 places offered, the people accepted would be... 1. 100.00 2. 99.80 3. 99.75 ... ... 99. 97.45 100. 75.80 the cut-off for that course would be 75.80, since that was the lowest uai in the top 100...
