I wouldn't have a clue if it had teflon, but no it's no the digital one. My hair is naturally curly and thick and it doesn't turn my hair to straw at all and it doesn't give those tell-tale straightener ends which I hate- I wouldn't use it if it did. There's nothing worse than those ends...
