So, its possible that the estimate isn't very accurate at all, as one year (say last year), could have had a very poor cohort which results in a poor rank. But then this year, could have a strong cohort, which would increase the estimate?

Hmm so, why is it that all the uai guru's ask for the school ranking when attempting to estimate a uai?

Erm, bottom 200, meaning...if theres 700(?) school, my school is ranked 500+.. o_O..thats not counted as a crappy school? And, me being fine = with heaps of study, i can get the 88+?

Oh, and, incase you were going to ask, i go to a crappy school....its in the bottom 200, maybe even 100.

hi. Id like to do the flexible engineering course (hopefully at UNSW, but if not, USYD at least).. And well, last years cut off was 88 for UNSW and 85 for USYD. People have been telling me they will increase, as they increased by 3 from 2 years ago. Id like to know other peoples...

well, the extra calculus will be beneficial, but ive already done the course, so can't i tell the uni that? if not, would it be better to keep the subject, but get a crappy mark, even tho it wont count anyway....(mainly for showing on my graduation sheet "ext 1 maths")?

oh well, when it comes to uni selections, will uni's prioritise other students over me because they have ext maths?
