Re: BoS O-Week Meatup '07 Nothing beats the 05 meet-up. There were a couple of groups hanging around fisher library, and we all knew the others were from BoS, but were too shy to say anything until my friend (who is a non-boser) asked if they were from BoS about 20 minutes later.

According to this website, the reason why MgSO4 has the suffix -ate is because it has more oxygen than MgSO3. This is also the case for nitrite (NO2-) and nitrate (NO3-).

Apparently not all of the unit are up yet. You'll most likely receive a syllabus which will inform you of what textbooks you need for the unit.

At usyd, the students look at the faculty handbook, which provide descriptions for each unit.

Just apply for any job possible. KFC, target, woolies, Big W, etc. I'm sure you're bound to get a few interviews. It was a bit rude how they called you in even though they are not hiring. I also agree with what Glitterfairy said.

I've done something similar to that when I was still working on checkouts. I lost $50 and was so pissed off that I informed security and watched the video surveillance during that time. Alas, I couldn't find him. :( I was lucky I didn't get counselled.

Some courses have a variety of textbooks to use. If that's the case I'd wait until semester starts and the lecturers tell you what you need. Also, as Libbster stated, you're better off buying second hand textbooks.
