Interesting... On that note i got msg'd by one of my best friends this morning, she very cryptically intimated that something happened at manning last night. Despite asking a few ppl (tho admittedly, no1 from college was seen today, and they're the ones most likely to know...) no1 knew...

Sydney uni used to have it as compulsory to do a double major until last year, now its just done as general practice. Unsw doesn't allow it yet (one of the reasons i didnt go - but they do have foundation day...so i dunno, close call ;) :p )

Thanx :) They must be scaled right? Because i dont think its possible for my marks to be course marks, judging from some of my assessment marks. Oh well, doesn't really matter i suppose :)

i thought they were just the exam marks? do we not then find out our exam marks?

I'm sure this has probably been said before...but how? I mean, whats the difference between GPA and WAM? Are they done using exam or course marks, because our lovely old fashioned *grrr* uni has yet to release overall marks (i don't think...)? :)

hehe, i know more non-law ppl who go to unsw drinks, than law ppl :p

Well done Minai, great marks! :D This forum is going to be saturated with comm/law-ers soon! Bit of a shame considering the degree is meant to denote a complete erosion of any personality :p What's required to transfer to law? What would be needed to transfer from fee-paying to hecs?

Another approach that may be easier to organise in essay form would be if you went through the 5 aspects of globalisation and related it to govt policies. Trade: reduced tariffs, diversifying (e.g advertising for tourism, overseas students etc) participating in free trade deals with...
