No it can't run XP due to the new BIOS technology. There might be a hack later, but it will still be a hack. I've used virtual PC and it is pretty slow for some things and definately can't run games.

No, you will still need some kind of emulator to run windows software, which isn't released. As Virtual PC is for PowerPC. Also, the new intel macs can't run windows XP, although they should be able to run Windows Vista. If your not-deperate or can't live without windows software. I'd wait 6...
