MATH141 isn't really easier than 187, they just go slower. If you are doing a maths degree you should do MATH187. If you struggle in 187 you will definately struggle in 2nd year maths.

It is run privately by the maths admin. Nothing to do with university. So I guess, anyone can apply for it. But I'm not sure how they advertise or judge the capabilities of the applicants :/ I acctually didn't know about it until I applied to be an 187/188 tutor then they told me.

Yeah, that's right and before 0830. Some clubs run events at uni after 1830 and the gym opens late also.

If you're doing any EE degree you should be in ECTE171 so go enrol in it asap :p

The UOW maths department also has a free referal system for private maths tutoring you can sign up to. Go to the maths adiministration in bld15 to enquire about it. Basicly you just give them your contact details. I got a student from there.

You can get fined for parking anytime of the year except the one week the university is closed in december.

I thought BCom/BEng people don't do ECTE150 and do a commerce subject instead. For EE it is easy, everyone does the same subjects. Tutorial enrollments have been open for a few days now so you should get in ASAP. For my first year I got a suggested timetable off maree when enrolling.

hmm..... that's bad. about $200 a session if coming everyday. Good thing I have a staff permit. If you want to park around uni, the other side of botanic gardens will definately be free around 0830. If you come here a bit ealier, just outside uni should be free too.

I don't think you can remove it. I also have that problem. I accidentally enrolled in a spring version of CSCI204 then realised I can only do it in autumn.
