What some methods used to separate mixtures of gases? And, any suggestions on industrial separation processes used on a mixture from one of the layers of the Eath (bio, atmos, litho etc)?

Try both of them out first, then decide on what you're gonna do in the first few weeks of Term 1. There's no use worrying on what you're gonna drop, as you havent experienced these subjects yet. Experience them first, then decide :)
