"Metaphors found in NSW Year 12 HSC English responses" Enjoy =) 1. He spoke with the wisdom that can only come from experience, like a guy who went blind because he looked at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it and now goes around the country speaking at high...

    Quick question

i think its more to the point that writing an essay (not using 'my', etc), is showing YOUR understanding of it, as in, the fact that youre actually writing an essay is showing your understanding of the subject. Because its an essay, steer clear of using 'my' etc and instead you make...

    Feminist Interpretation

The richard eyre one (bbc 1998) is mainly family/psychological BUT also has some feminist qualities (so i'm using it for both). I'm not sure if youve done it, but the main feminist ideas are.. *Cordelia is portrayed as more strong-willed and defiant, firstly in that Lear comes to her (instead...

lear quotes for a feminist reading

all of mine relate to the film i'm doing, but heres a random one ive got, where Lear expresses his disgust at the female and female sexuality: "but to the girdle do the gods inherit, beneath is all the fiends"

    LAST MINUTE CRAMMING....HELP W/ K.LEAR- READINGS PLz!!!!!

yeah thats it. I'm using heaps of examples from the film too (kosintsev's russian production) but here goes.. the marxist reading, in general, focuses on all the political and class inequalities in king lear - and so unlike most productions, it doesnt simply centre on the story of the king and...

    Music 2

not at all. Many people may not know this, but the whole reason music 1 was introduced was for people who only picked up music in yr 11 (kind of like beginners languages) - of course it'd help to know something beforehand, but theres definitely no prerequisites. its a bit sad that music 1 has...

    Qu bout NHPA's

hey there from what i remember last year, we didn't have to know about asthma (in detail) as an NHPA cos it was introduced after '98 - just the other ones. But its good to know a few simple statistics cos i think they may be able to ask those. Hope that was of some help.. :p oh and good luck!

Conservatoriums - GENERAL: Entry, atmosphere, auditions etc.
