Ah damn!!!! u beat me by 0.05!!!!!!!!!! Well u jus beat me in Chem (dint count for me), i beat u in Eng, u absolutely OWNED me in 3U & 4U Maths, we tied in Phys, and i did pretty well in Bio which counted. So, yes, i guess u deserve that extra 0.05 grrrr...hehe well done anyways :)

Hey i did the same subjects as u Fashionista, except i dint do ext1 eng :) I must admit tho that 3 sciences in the HSC is quite...tiring...but having said that, if u enjoy them like i did, it is both personally and UAIally (hehe) rewarding. Good Luck to all of u!!! Trust me, ull enjoy it! :D

Fashionista, i think that's jus a bit of an over-reaction. i mean 8 months not doing anything but study can be quite detrimental. i mean work heaps hard during the term and then sort of bludge in ur holidays (altho dont completely bludge). Remember to have fun in Year 12!!!

i estimated around a 80% raw mark for my HSC exam at the best-i.e. if i dint make any silly mistakes. So in actual fact, i would have prolly got around 77% raw. My final scaled exam mark was 94 and i was like...OMG. So i think there's some pretty massive scaling.

I think its better u choose subjects that u actually like (and usually, therefore, good at) than those which scale good (also scaling is not consistant year to year anyways)

My most important tip: If u dont do well in a couple of assessment tasks, don't worry and don't stress over it too much!!! I go to Baulko and 5 ppl got 100 this year and i did good as well (99.70). And what i have realised is that in some of the various assessment tasks given to us in year 12...

My average HSC mark was 94 (actually my best 10 units marks were: 92, 93, 94, 95, 96- oh btw i planned for this arithmetic sequence to happen ;)) and i got 99.7. so, no, i dint get any really high band 6ers...and yes i was quite surprised. :)
