Bachelor of Arts with Dip Ed. instead of Bachelor of Science with Dip Ed.

Hmm, I was sure you could transfer automatically into a BSciDipEd from an equivalent BADipEd but this table http://www.studentadmin.mq.edu.au/docs/courseTransferTable2.pdf appears to not have it. What you might need to do is contact student admin and see if they've simply left off that transfer...

    No Lecture for AHIS140?

Yeah the Arts department is apparently deep in debt, so they'll be holding Lectorials and using online participations to try and shave off their debts. Not happy.

USYD or Macquarie? Have an urgent decision to make!

Social side will always be dependent on how involved you get, no matter where you go, there'll be things to do, its just a matter of whether you want to participate in them. Consider however that to get involved in 'social' aspects, that travelling home from getting shitfaced will be a lot...

That's the thing, we got some Blackboard Lite version that was horrible. I believe that the current one is updated and runs ace (I think UNSW run it or a version called Vista). But I do like the step towards open source, rather than being locked into another vendor item

It has potential since its an open source backend (Moodle), just that you also get the bugs and instabilities that a developing program/system has. It'll be great once its finalised and launched I think. A lot better than Blackboard.

Scientists urge unis to axe alternative medicine courses

There's a fair bit of controversy due to the original founding and notion of chiropractic science being founded on fairly 'questionable' science. Having said that, not many people actually ascribe to that old school thinking and it has developed over the years to incorporate more 'solid'...

Depends on what you want to do I guess, if the eventual aim is to do the Com HR then yeah it would save time. The thing with an Arts degree is that its open enough so you can really major in anything, so its not like you'll be doing 'too much'. It'd be like doing a really focused single degree...

There's actually a degree with it, so no I don't think you would, dependent on how you structured your degree. I think you'd be looking at 4 years if you don't want to kill yourself: http://www.handbook.mq.edu.au/2012/DegreesDiplomas/Degree/Bachelor+of+Arts+with+the+degree+of+Bachelor+of+Commerce

Tutorials may begin first week or second, best advice is to turn up to the lecture if its before the tutorial and they'll tell you, or if its before the lecture, to turn up to the tutorial and wait 5-10 minutes, if no one arrives its not on. Tutorials aren't just 'revision', lectures are were...

bachelor of arts with diploma in education ???

http://www.educ.mq.edu.au/public/download.jsp?id=53140 Read the TEP guide carefully and thoroughly, if you don't you WILL fuck up your degree and may find yourself either staying back an extra semester to finish subjects off or worse graduate without being qualified. As a future teacher there...

Each unit/subject will be different from another, that's why they're different units and not one big one. Plus you still have electives, even within majors, so you may choose a range of different subjects from someone doing the same major but still under the same broad area/major. Therefore its...
