    germany at war

Yeah, he only wanted Eva Braun when he could have had almost any woman in the Reich. He probably saw what happened with Goebbels and Riefenstahl and gave up. :-P

I must admit I haven't studied the economy of Germany at all, so I have no idea whatsoever about it.

    germany at war

Just Hitler's poorness as a strategist. He pulled out fo the Battle of Britain when the British were on their knees, he stuffed up Stalingrad, not to mention the fact he had poor support from his neighbours (Italy, etc.)

    germany at war

That's an entire topic by itself! Just focus on Germany's take-over of Czechoslovakia, Poland and their attempted take-over of Russia. (Stalingrad and what happened there is a must-mention). Although Germany at home during the war is where I struggle.

    King Lear - Themes

I'm going to concentrate on themes. I went to a study camp a few weeks ago, and one of the tutors there said that for English some of the questions that were done poorly across the board would be re-worded and put in this year's HSC. King Lear was one of the worst answered questions apparently...

What aspects of this case study are you focusing on and what historians are you using? Also, has anyone here actually read any of his work? I've read parts of the Annals, but that was it.

    Productions/Readings???

I was reading through the examiner's notes on King Lear and found that there was a difference between a 'reading' and a 'production'. What is the difference ebtween the two? The way I see it is that a reading is a type of interpretation (eg Feminist, Marxist, Feminist, etc.) whilst a...

    Emma/Clueless

Don't try to regurgitate a generic response twisted into a certain form for the modules, you'll get crucified in the marks if you do. If you're absolutely stuck, just focus on the parallels between the two texts.

    Totalitarianism

I've had two teachers tell me different things on this. One's told me to make a point and stick to it, the other says show both sides, but then make a decision. I think I'll make a point and stick to it, although, be sure to give your opposing side a mention, as it makes it look more 'balanced'.

    Remembering ALL text?

I've heard so many conflicting opinions on this, although I doubt they can ask a specific texts for change fromt he changing booklet, as it says one of your own choosing in booklet and the syllabus. Although if they ask for a specific episode in Frontline or for Gwen Harwood, I'm gonna be...

Can i ask you something guys!!

If you have a passion and love for history then go for it. Any extension course in my opinion requires a passion to do. It's a really interesting course, which, if you love history, you'll enjoy.
