It's more about having to be in fear of these gangs, in a place that all should be able to enjoy freely. It's also about the disrespect that they show for the other people on the beach, and the lifesavers, who volunteer to keep everyone safe. That said, those locals who would be fired up...

Just a note with iPhoto - I don't recommend that you set it to automatically delete your photos off your camera when you transfer them - stuff can go wrong with that - being joggled, etc. What's really needed is an option to just delete all the photos off your camera, in an out-of-the-way place...
