    CFC's anyone???

thank god everyone hates chem... if most people do bad i wont feel as bad for not really caring...ALL HANDS ON DECK FOR THE KNOWLEDGE NATION:D

who knows what recoil velocity is??

no i don't think so...i don't do q2q, it's just a combination of space and quantum theory from ideas to implimentation..isn't it?

    Commutators

sorry to be an asswipe.....but we've been told to prepare and rehash an answer on the importance of physics and space exploration in general. specifically a 8 mark question like "justify huge amounts of money and resouces being spent on space exploration while millions of people starve...." has...

    practice tests

sorry, my mistake (am bad) q12 in PLC isn't quite the smae.... anyway, you get the idea. the q asked the direction of the force on the electron (where the @#$% is the test?)

    neeed help with equations

....don't forget the equation range = (u^2sin2@)/g ....while it isn't in our sylabus it can be mighty handy.....

who knows what recoil velocity is??

Blackjacks on fire.... It's all about conservation of momentum guy's, (Goddard anyone?) but i thought recoil velocity was usually the name given to the reverse movement of a cannon or whatever when a projectile was lauched.. in this case don't they give it a different name for something like a...

    practice tests

cheers on the projectile one everyone... the pos plate one i've found in the PLC test. q 12 in the multi choice sect. The electron has to experience a force to the pos plate, yet in the answers they reckon its out of the page!!!!. I couldn't find the PLC answers so i don't know if its that...

    practice tests

sorry, forgot something... in one of the multi choices (ARC?) there was a question, which of the folowing is an inertial frame of reference? A, a rocket out of fuel in deep space.. or B, a projectile at it's max hieght. personally i thought it was b, because theres no horizontal...

    practice tests

has everyone done all the practice tests on the notes section? have you noticed all of the dumb mistakes in some of the answers? i think it was the grammer or girls school (figures) that got all the forces on charges in magnetic fields wrong. A pos charge can't experience a force perpendicular...

James Ruse Trial - how it should have looked

I'm with dumbass... If our school did that test we would'a averaged about 30%. hardest damn chem test i've ever seen. for multi choice did anyone else get a,c,a,a,c,a,b,b,b,b,b,d,d,c,b? or am i just really stupid? let hope the hsc is as boring and generically easy as the others..... or i'm screwed.

    Help With Assessment Task

I remember an experiment of titration at the tafe... a guy in my class stuck one of those long thin glass tubes (pipette) straight through the palm of his hand! safety anyone? lucky we didn't have that sub.:D

    speculations about hsc exam

isn't CHEMISTRY abstract? the physics test by them was just as abstract. personally i've got the gut feeling for a big marker on CFC's, water treatment, and ion tests. does anyone else notice that the information on tests contradict others. some of mine say such and such turns green with pink...

    chem monitoring and management pracs

the phosphorus content of detergent is analysed by precipitating a ample with molybdate (MoO42-) ions. in the presence of a reducing agent (ascorbic acid C6H8O6). The phosphorus level turns the solution blue, depending on the amount of phosphorus. (set spectrograph at red light wavelength as...
