It depends a lot on the subjects you do, some are more directly vocational than others. Tell us what you're interested in and we can be more specific.

USU runs most student services, cafes, bars, clubs and societies, blah blah blah. It's run by a permanent staff, but they also have a board made out of students as a sop to student representation. Half the board is elected each year. Almost all the candidates are hacks from one political party...

ugh, harbhajan is such a dick. hopefully theyll actually discipline him this time rather than just giving him a slap on the wrist like they did with the symonds thing.

nah as if, obviously if they have a couple of big buildings and a shit footy code and cricket ground then they're a better city. but my personal favourite is: oh right ok, i'm going to move to melbourne now that i know it has its own monopoly board.

honi elections are held with the src elections in sem 2, not the union elections. campaigning has now been happening for three days and i haven't been given a single leaflet or had a single lecture bash. am i doing something wrong? do they not care about my vote anymore? also, bec santos'...
