ooer you're doing comp3615 waf? what are the pre-reqs for that? I was thinking of doing it but im not sure if i've done enough IT subjects. That subject would make for an epic semester actually (2 exams, 1 of which will be worth 30%). edit: btw did you do comp2007 last year?

Overloading in first year will be tough, especially in a science degree where you already have 5 subjects to deal with due to first year maths. You might need to get special permission in first year depending on faculty. I think in general you can only take up to 30cp in one of your semesters...

meh, im just using the elec labs nowadays. moar engineering applications available, no internet cap/quota, not as crowded as IT labs (i think there's only like 2 or 3 booked classes in there a week) and i get a larger printer quota than in IT.

haha congrats, at this stage you're pretty much in i think. I only know of Steve Templeton since a few of my mates got assigned to his group. They did programming of signal design/maintenance but these managers are known to rotate every now and then. His team is based in Flemington though...
