    The Night Before An Exam

Eh. I sleep fine. Went to bed around 9-10pm before both the english exams, and woke up at 5 to study - I am MUCH better first thing in the morning, than late at night when I should be asleep! Just went over my notes and stuff. However before Senior Science... I went to bed at 9 and woke up at...

    Marks in Trials

Ugh, I got like 50% But our average was around 40 or something. Ended up coming around 12/50. I kept telling myself " No big deal, I'll study from now until the HSC and do really well in the externals, and i'll be fine." The exam's tomorrow, and I haven't studied! :p The reason why people are...

No one does Senior Science??! :p Anyone? How'd you find the exam? It was a lot easier than I anticipated, but I wish they'd asked more on the scientists contributing to our understanding of disease (for pharmaceuticals)... A TWO MARK question?! GAH! I wrote like a page haha. I could have gone...

For Harwood, I just talked about inevitability of time/change and the emotions involved with that - love, pain, etc, as well as faith. Only wrote about 3.5 pages. :( Totally screwed that one! *bangs head on desk*

True what you said about the 'idea'. But I suppose you had to make it VERY obvious that your story was based on it... I just didn't wanna risk it. ...No.

Thoughts of section -Standard english students

Well, yeah. But the thing is, doing Standard you KNOW you're gonna get marked against the Advanced kids for AOS... Apparently heaps of advanced students had trouble with it too... Personally I don't see what everyone was going on about, but meh. So don't stress too much, you probably did better...

    gulp..

I chucked the quote in the beginning, then said "a dance of broken, gleaming fragments" toward the end. Talking about a broken heart. lmao. There's no way I wouldn't have added it though! Why didn't you? They might think it was just a prepared story that didn't really answer the question...

A radio interview is fine. Most people see creative and jump straight to a short story. It's good to have something different.

    General Thoughts - English Paper 1 2007

I actually didn't mind the first section... It was heaps easier than our trials, which I got 10/15 for, so i'm expecting a bit more. :) 2nd section - easy. I know you should never use a prepared response, but mine fit perfectly. 3rd - ARRGHHH. unexpected detours? I just argued against it. I...
