    Law 114 Jurisprudence - 2008

The camp is a good idea if you want to go. But, it isnt the be all and end all of your 5 years in law if you dont go. If you are interested in going feel free to go but dont be scared by visions of law solitude if you dont attend. People will form friendships on camp but you will also do...

Is Macq Law better than UTS law?

Where is MQ and some PLT so we can ditch the College of Law. Thats where UTS has MQ Law I believe. 8 electives could be reduced to 4 and a semester of PLT introduced. Just my call on the differences. I love MQ take home assessments though too except the big 100% final one day take home. Is...

    Question: Tutes first week?

I suppose it affects the planning of your day. I had my middle class cut out. So I needed to wait from 1130 to 5. I can see peoples frustrations. But yeah true its no big issue. A bit frustrated my Blackboard has no courses when I think they should.

    Yay semester!

That even provides us with a good character reference and an ego boost. Maybe we all have delusions of grandeur and none of us know it yet? Oh well, it will take 5 years to work out.

    Question: Tutes first week?

Pwar.... Jurisprudence (and Torts) from my experience are exceptions to the rule. Had my Con/Admin class.... 30 mins out of 2 hours..... got textbooks and left. I see what you all mean about going first week. You do meet a few people you know or some new people.

    Yay semester!

I'd think otherwise. Law students are mostly good people. They are like everyone else really. Out of 500 people, theres always going to be a bunch of f%$kwits spoiling our great reputation. I dont think theres delusions of grandeur on the most part. Law is highly competitive but I dont think...

    Question: Tutes first week?

I just checked BlackBoard and nothing is available. I know it might sound like a whinge but why would you not have BlackBoard up and running at least a day before uni starts. That allows people time to familiarise themselves with their courses and then lets them know of attendance in the...

    LAW427 - Trial Advocacy running in 08?

melsc.. The following may be of some interest to you. I was going through the handbook and I had a look at Trial Advocacy. It says that it will be offered in 2009 http://www.handbook.mq.edu.au/unit.php?edition=2008&unitCode=LAW427 I think since demand for this subject was supposedly...

    ECON110 Class Allocation problem.

Who know mate! Just hold tight and see what Alex Blair has to say. He will probably just leave it as is. Maybe he might change some classes to the day as opposed to night.

O week - Do we still attend our lectures?

All uni commences on Monday. That definitely means lectures. Tutorials and practicals are dependent upon specific units.

    Law 114 Jurisprudence - 2008

Taken from the other thread. My opinions of Jurisprudence with a few additions Tabris, probably gives the best outline of Juris, but I am willing to offer my opinion of the course. I tolerated the subject but I didnt really enjoy the subject matter too much. It is very analytical and...
