My best friend got a UAI below 50.00..but because he did Maths extension 1 & 2 and got 90 for math extension 1 & 80 for the other one, he gets a call from WOU saying cos of his marks, he gets to go into their maths course!!! DRATS! i want a call from WOC or Canberra saying dont worry about...

Actually, at our school its SRE..because we had RE from 7-10..so when it came to yr 11..they added the S in front of it....weird, but i think it works!

I think so.....better check with the UNI itself! :) I gonna defer from La Trobe.......plus i want to find out info on transferring..(maybe Canberra?) Isnt u have to go to the UNI for at least 6 months?

I got an offer from La Trobe Uni!!!!!! The B Arts!! I really thought that knowing my luck i wouldnt got an offer, even though my UAI was just higher than the cut-off (50.40)...i think that maybe quite a few ppl might have also applied for it!!

I dont think La Trobe lower theirs...but with a cut-off of 50.40....i dont think you need to lower it any futher!!! :)

Anyway, it doesnt matter anymore!!!! I GOT INTO LA TROBE!!!!!! But i'm going to defer..which is a shame, but i dont have ANY money. So i better work! Thansk for all advice! Now i just need to find a way to transfer to Canberra Uni! lol

Im just saying, if u go to a christian school & u have to do SRE II but can drop one unit in yr 12....WAIT!!!! if u want a UAI...make sure you dont have two subjects in a B categorys!!!! I did that & the UAC people had to drop one of my B subjects that had a lower score (75)..so they had to...

Isnt there a way to increase ur UAI (i got 51.45 cos the UAC counted only 9 subjects) if you do a TAFE course? Cos i heard that somewhere..i want to do B Arts for acting or do a course that involves scriptwriting...but for now im going to do my hospitality certificate III (lasts a year)...can...
