My record this summer is around 90 hours in one week.

I work outside for most of the day, so its usually around 40 degrees. Although we do leave the landcruiser on for most of the day and sit inside with air con on when we have to wait for drillers. Work hours are 6-6. So get home around 5:30-6:30 depending on the day.

Ive got a place here, so its all good. It's not worth flying back home. Im having an epic time here in Perth/on site now, so im glad im here.

Economics is not quant enough to be a trader. Maybe a cash trader, that's about it. An economics and finance double is really one degree. They are nearly identical. Better off doing something which gives you a broader skill set. As im sure you would know from your extensive research...

Cos you seem to have no idea about what you are getting into. You want someone else to choose a degree for you for a career you know very little about. I asked you where you want to end up as there are vastly different skill sets involved in IB. M&A is completely different to structuring...

I work in Metaliferious. Above ground. In the Pilbara. I do whatever the geos do there. It's great as im not stuck in an office reading stuff or photocopying. I am attached to my supervisor. Definately enjoying it, although not so much my time in Perth as I get really bored.

You should be fine, unless you want to major in geophysics or structural geology or engineering geology. Geology doesn't need maths unless you pick the above specialisations. But you will need to do some basic 1st yr maths as part of your degree.
