The earliest games start at 3pm in germany. Given we're 8 hours ahead, the earliest game on our screens will hit at 11pm. The latest would start at 5am. The rest are in between there. Heh, lucky theres no uni on during the world cup, so i can stay up and just sleep when the games are over...

When do they actually announce the teams? I'd have thought it would be very soon (if not already) since theres just over 1.5 months left.

Im pretty sure sbs has rights to all the matches this time. They obviously cant show them all as some are played at the same time (that was the advantage of two channels having rights to show it), but yeah, the coverage will still be there.

I dunno about last year, in my year la salle won the A grade soccer, pretty much all the volleyball ages (the seniors came first in teh state most years and represented at the nationals), lost the finals in A grade league to randwick, we had an Australian ranked tennis player who pretty much won...

Decent, smallish grades so you were a pretty close-knit group. Most of my classes ranged from 8-15 students. Other than maths, they weren't that flash hot academically, i'd say about 10 students got over 90 uai, theres always someone that gets 99 though. Pretty good at sport though in the MCC...

So now they want to put lectures for comp2711 on monday of week 9 and 10 at 6-8 pm >:/. Although its not a huge problem for me, since the only class i have monday is the comp2011 lecture 10-11 which i can easily skip, that'd majorly blow for people with classes they have to go to in the morning...

We do two types of compression in this current assignment, huffman and splaying. The splaying method doesnt count the bytes in a file.

Is that assignment worth more than 5%? Last year we had like 2, 3 questions tops in an assignment.

We all know d/dx x2 = 2x But what if we define x2 = x + x + ... + x (x times) Then d/dx x2 = 1 + 1 + ... + 1 (x times) = x :O Can anyone explain? ;)
